Lee Dewyze sang The Boxer, Beautiful Day and Everybody Hurts. Crystal Bowersox, on the other hand sang Black Velvet, Me and Bobby McGee and Up to the Mountain.

The judges were consistently pimping Crystal and threw Lee Dewyze under the bus tonight. Though I must admit that Crystal tried so bad to give Lee great competition.

Personally, I liked Lee Dewyze’ Everybody Hurts and Beautiful Day rather than Crystal’s Black Velvet and Up To The Mountain. The songs were all anti-climactic that’s why it felt like the show’s in a hurry to end.

Crystal felt so desperate, in a positive way – she was really outstanding that night. So is Lee, which I felt was more of heartfelt, emotional and passionate. The desire to win remains apparent even if he’s not in his best while he’s singing.
