After an 8.8-magnitude earthquake hit Chile yesterday, it was believed that a tsunami would behitting the coastal lines of the countries around the Pacific, which includes our very own country, the Philippines.

According to Yahoo! News, the earthquake collapsed bridges, plunged trucks and toppled homes threatening about a fourths of the globe, containing countries around the Pacific Ocean. Many people were killed. Many roads were destroyed with water, electricity and phone lines being cut in lots of areas in Chile.

Because of this, experts are predicting that a tsunami can definitely strike anywhere in the Pacific with Hawaii being prone to largest waves or a possible tsunami. This prediction was deducted from waves of around six feet above the normal are striking Talcahuano in Chile right after the earthquake had strucked the country.

The tsunami is expected to hit Hawaii at 11am today, with 12 feet of waves striking the state.

Coastlines in the Philippines, especially in Palanan, Davao and eastern part of the Philippines. The tsunami is also expected to hit Davao Gulf at 1-2pm tomorrow.

Coastal areas from the following areas in the Philippines might get affected too:

    * Batanes Group of Islands
* Cagayan
* Ilocos Norte
* Isabela
* Quezon
* Aurora
* Camarines Norte
* Camarines Sur
* Albay
* Catanduanes
* Sorsogon
* Northern Samar
* Eastern Samar
* Leyte
* Southern Leyte
* Surigao del Norte
* Surigao del Sur
* Davao Oriental
* Davao del Sur

Do you know about webthesurfi rugs webdesign?

Good thing blogging and social media are taking actions in spreading the word. Government seems to be pretty lax with this. Err.
