UAAP SEASON 73 CHAMPIONS: The Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles – In a three-point Season 73 closure for the Men’s Basketball Finals Game 2 between ADMU vs FEU, the Ateneo Blue Eagles clinched their third championship title, 65-62.

Nipping  the top seed FEU, the Blue Eagles’ Buenafe had to make a last push to win their basketball crown in front of 17,215 fans at the Araneta Coliseum, which aired live at ABS-CBN. He was also awarded as the UAAP Season 73 Finals Most Valuable Player with a stunning performance which includes a three-pointer just barely 20 seconds near the end of the game, giving a five-point margin to secure the win over the FEU Tamaraws.

Ateneo Blue Eagles smashed the UE Red Warriors in the third and final round of the UAAP Season 72 Basketball Championships, for the second consecutive year. Ateneo Blue Eagles won both Juniors and Seniors Basketball, back-to-back.

With their top player Salamat, Ateneo wins 71-58 in a game held in the Araneta Coliseum.
