MISS WORLD 2010 UPDATES: The Beach Beauty Fast Track Finalists were chosen! Among the roster of 115 beauties, forty candidates were chosen to be part of the Beach Beauty Fast Track Finals set to be held, October 16.

BEACH BEAUTY UPDATE: It was canceled due to heavy rains. It is then postponed to October 23.

On October 30, one of the 115 finalists for the 2010 Miss World will be crowned as the new MISS WORLD 2010. Along with her are her two runner-ups and the five Continental Queens of Beauty from Americas, Caribbean, Asia and Oceania, Europe and Africa.

Last year, Miss Gibraltar’s Kaianne Aldorino won the Beach Beauty Fast Track, escalated her to the semifinals and eventually won the title of Miss World 2009. Unfortunately, Miss Philippines World 2010 Czarina Catherine Gatbonton was not able to make it to the Top 40. The first in eight years that the Philippines was snubbed in this fast track. Gatbonton, however, still has chances at the Miss World talent, Miss World Sports, Beauty for a Purpose and Top Model fast tracks. Along with Gatbonton who were surprisingly not chosen are representatives from Brazil, Slovakia, Venezuela and South Africa.
