Miss Universe 2010: Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj
After all the drama about getting a passport and VISA, Maria Venus Raj has a few more walls and girls to conquer as now, she is fighting her way to win the most coveted title of Miss Universe 2010.
For the second year in a row, the Miss Universe 2010 will be held in August unlike the past years as the contest was held May or early June. Due to prospective countries backing out from hosting Miss Universe 2010, Donald Trump decided to hold the prestigious beauty pageant to Las Vegas, USA.
Among the top contenders to win this year’s crown is Rima Fakih, Miss USA. Also, Miss Mexico Ximena Navarrete is making waves along with Miss Russia 2010 and our very own Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj is currently leading the pack.
Among the girls expected to rock the competition on August 23rd are as follows: Miss Colombia, Miss Venezuela, Miss Canada, Miss Slovakia and Miss Brazil.
In the Philippines, Miss Universe 2010 Schedule is August 24 on ABS-CBN. The Miss Universe 2010 Start Time is 8 AM, 8 PM EST.

With all the controversies thrown at her before she lands on Las Vegas this August, will Maria Venus Raj be able to make more waves in Miss Universe 2010?
