It is terribly disappointing to find actors and former parties to the Marcos dictatorship running for senate. It is very hard to comprehend how forgetful the Filipino people are and how readily swayed by these actors who made money in make-believe world. The list of senatorial candidates is very pathetic with the exception of at the most 2 names on the above list.
This popularity contest and the continued presence of undesirables in the senate should stop.
Let it be a law in the Philippines that movie and TV stars be blocked from elected public offices and that all candidates will be asked to pay a flat fee for campaign purposes and each one will have equal media time and space, side-by-side for comparative analogy. These are extremely easy to accomplish. And they will each have a time/date for every major campaign sites to be decided by the COMELEC.

12 lang ang ine-elect natin. Every six years, yung other half ng 24 ay ine-elect.
