Writing Essays

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

When I was younger, I have already discovered my skills in writing. Though it may not be at par from everybody else, I think I can express what’s on my mind and successfully convey the ideals and standpoints I want to deliver to anyone in the form of writing. I have been joining writing and journalism contests in the past and actually won some. When I was in high school, I focused more on hard sciences – mathematics, physics and chemistry are my cup of tea. Though I never imagined to love those subjects, I was always the bets in class in those fields and I have completely forgotten about my writing skills.

When I entered college, I applied for the engineering program. It was a very difficult life ahead for me. Imagine, I’ll be enduring this for five years of my life. Add to that, our family is tight on budget and I had to go find some part time jobs to suffice for my dorm rental and tuition fees.

At that point, I thought of writing for money. Not only that it would earn me more, I can also do this in my free time. This is a very flexible job and the deliverables only need to be sent once in a day and you’re done. So I looked for some freelance websites who wants writers to make some custom essays for their clients. I also found out one really great website that caters to UK essays. What’s good is that they guaranteed excellent quality control system that gives its customers the best essays. They also make sure that their writers and authors are at par – they give tests to measure the efficiency and quality of the articles to be made by their employees.

That is why, whether it is dissertation or thesis services or maybe simple features articles and essays, the company is able to provide what their clients need.

I certainly want to be part of a company like that. This is probably a venture worth taking. I am hoping that I’d be able to commit to the work, once I passed the screening. Making money from something you are passionate about would really be a great thing to do. Even if I am doing something out of my field, I am still enjoying it because this is something I love – writing. Hopefully, I’d be able to help more people in their writing endeavors.

Good Sleep

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

As you all know, I live in a co-ed dormitory here in the university. I like it here actually. Good facilities. Nice people, nice staff. And the food – much better than in other dormitories! All of these need to be accounted when choosing a place to live in -whether if you’ll be comfortable living in a double-decked bed or if you want the arrangement in our room customized. Of course you want to have clean mattress and bathrooms with proper sanitation measures as part of your hygienic living. Truly, this dorm accounts much of my needs and that is why sleeping in this dormitory is such a reprieve after a day’s work.

Tuition Fee

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

Yesterday was a really tiring day! I wasn’t even able to blog about the recent happenings during the enrolment. Oh well, fortunately, I can still recall some of the remarkable stuff I did for the past two days. I went out for lunch in two consecutive days with PSME friends at Chowking and three consecutive nights with Brenda at Cucina ni Mamang’s. On top of that, the stressful enrollment process! I have enlisted in all of my subjects already however, one subject, EEE 1, registers a whopping 12 units on my registration form. I couldn’t afford to pay 12 units for just one subject. Then, I found out the reason why! I was enlisted in two lecture classes! How relieved I am! However, I also needed for the Computer Registration System to remove it from my list.

Oh, if only I have gold coins to sell, I wouldn’t mind paying 12 units for just one subject. Haha.

My First Semester Academic Year 2010-2011 Schedule

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

Say, this schedule won’t be a great fat burner!!! I have classes from Monday up to Saturday! Gah. Oh well, I really have to take all these subjects so I’d be able to graduate immediately.

MONDAY
0100 – 0400 : EEE 1 Laboratory (DEEE)

TUESDAY/THURSDAY
0830 – 1130 : ME 176 (DME, ME 5)
1200 – 0230 : ME 143 (DME, ELAB)
1600 – 1730 : IE 3 (MH 405)

*Take note of an hour and a half break between ME 143 and IE 3 and I don’t think I’d be able to take my lunch in the 30-minute break after ME 176. Well, they say ME 143 would just be a 30-minute session as the professor normally dismisses the class early.

WEDNESDAY/FRIDAY
0830 – 1000 : EEE 1 Lecture (EEE LC2)
1130 – 1300 : ME 153 (ME 4)
1730 – 1900 : ME 183 Lecture (ME 4)

SATURDAY
0830 – 1130 : ME 183 Lab (ME 4)

What a tough schedule! The best part is that I’m free almost every afternoon. Siesta time!

On A Diet?

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Day after day, minute after minute – my mom never fail to bug me about me losing weight. She said that I should be eating proper food and should maintain proper exercise. What sucks is that this is something I am aware of and, really, I am trying to do my best to be slimmer and lose weight.

However, I don’t think this constant nagging helps, really.

Anyhow, I just want to know if you guys heard of this curvatrim, it’s another mechanism to lose weight. I have already tried Slenda and I don’t know if it really worked.

Anyway, I hope to start losing weight by the start of June. I really need to – the graduation photos will be taken on August – barely two months more to at least cut down fats on my tummy.

Hey friends, help me work this out!

Oh Classes

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

How I thank God it’s a Saturday today. That has got to be a stressful week I endured last week. Aside from lots of responsibilities to attend to, being sick for a day – add to that, migraine attacks almost killed me. Oh well, here’s an update from the past week.

January 5
It was the first day of classes and nobody expected our professor to show up. Well, he has been absent for almost a month. Apparently, his father died just before the year 2009 ended. And it was really brief lecture he had. What we were a bit shocked was when he told us to answer all the fourteen problems in the end of the first chapter, he had just discussed and submit it two hours after. And yes, we were able to make it but that’s really insane.

Engineering Week 2009

Friday, December 11th, 2009

Okay, so yesterday was the kickoff for this year’s Engineering Week – but a lot more than these things are the preparations for the actual event.

18-profile1

Our organization is aiming for a higher ranking this year, and thus, we strategized and joined lots of activities sponsored by other organizations. We also sponsored Now ShowEngg: Most Amazengg Videos, Freak Show and SongWritengg contest which turned out to be fine. Gawd! The preparations for the event was so tedious and mind-boggling – felt like all my creative juices ran out of the system, not to mention, I’m kinda drained physically, emotionally and mentally.

Anyway, I’m just here to let you know that there is a voting for Miss Engineering Voter’s Choice!

This year, our organization has selected Kevin Carlo Munsayac to be the representative in Miss Engineering 2009 Miss PSME-UPSU! To vote for her, simply click the link here or the picture above.

This Friday will be, Miss Engineering 2009, guys on girls’ clothes! Who knows? We’ll see some Kayden Kross on Blake Logan action there! Nah. Just kidding.

Friday the 13th is a Great Day

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Today is Friday the 13th! A lot of people believe that it is a very unfortunate day. But today is just an ordinary day for me – not unlucky, just normal.

I started the day right as I attended the CE 22 class. This was the first day I have met Mr. Anganco, our professor. I believe that I’d be able to do well in this subject especially as the subject tackles about engineering economics – its more about business and economics in relation to our field and does not really involve much computations.

UP Engineering New Registration System and Other Unfortunate Things

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Okay, so I was back here in Manila last November 3 – all geared up for whatever unfortunate things to happen. When I got here, I already know that this week would be hell.

I knew from the past week I had gotten an INC in a subject and 4.0 in two subjects. So when I walked in at my department, I was kinda surprised my Form 5A was printed. I thought I’d be ineligible to enroll since at that moment, I have only passed three out of eighteen units I took from the last semester. But then a Form 5A is issued to those who are eligible – or not.

August Expectations

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

I have pretty high hopes with August as it seems this month will be very productive for me – I hope so.

June and July have been really terrible. I couldn’t get myself to study. My world revolved to attending meetings, organizing activities for freshies, publicizing for these events, meetings yet again (with another organization), dorm scramblings, dorm publication, and a lot more. Pretty weird, I haven’t forgotten I’m here to study. Period.

That drives me nuts each time I do organizational work and other extra-curriculars. I know I should be exerting more effort in my academics than these things and I can not blame anyone if I take examinations and flunk it. As of now, out of four exams (ES 15, MetE 143, ME 164, ME 153 and ME 142 1st and 2nd Long), I am sure that I’ll flunk around half of these exams – fortunately, I passed ES 15 1st long. That somehow boosted my ego, even just a bit.

Not only that, I had gone way too much on expenses. Add to that, my wallet got stolen last week. Got it back, 2.5k less. I’m so irresponsible.

But I gotta change that.

And so, I am challenging myself that for August, I will start anew. I have to be prepared for all the exams, three days before. I have to cut down my expenses to just P1.5k a week. And I gotta do away with unlimited texting – due to focus and expenses, too.

Right. I know it would be very difficult for me, but hey, I know I can discipline myself and I can do this. Now, you guys have to support me on this one, okay?

PS:
I had earned half of what’s needed to buy myself a laptop. I might have one, in less than a month! :) Wee.

Elections and Exams

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

The past week has been quite a ride. My buddy, Jose, ran as USC councilor while three other friends of mine ran as department representatives in my home college. As an orgmate and as a friend, I had to support and campaign for them. Not only that, just join them and make them feel at ease whenever stress plagues into their systems.

I’ve gone too far though. I entered my dorm room, and I can’t believe how messy it was. I have been out every night, for like three weeks now and I have had no time to clean things up. I haven’t even had the chance to pick up my laundry and do academic stuffs.

I never thought of the latter for the past month, until just earlier when I had to take the ES 13 exam. As I skimmed through my notes, this is the first time I had skipped noting. I have incomplete summaries and lecture notes. And I didn’t know what was going on, the whole time I was trying to read and absorb what’s written there. When I skimmed through my book, same same thing. I felt hopeless. And when I took the exam, and tried answering. Right after, I just sobbed. I just can’t help but be sad because I know I can’t blame anyone for that. I did that to myself; I didn’t balance things out.

3586443928_c0a38b50c4_o

Anyway, I’d look at it as a motivation. A challenge, I have to ace both ES 12 and ES 13 exams on the last week of March.

And instead of posting an entry in this rotting blog, I should be studying.

SHOUT OUT:
Happy Birthday Kuya Ederic :)

After Three Exams

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

I’m pretty much intact. But yea, three exams in a week. THREE HARDCORE ones. You can really lose your sanity. I could’ve been close to having my insanity taken by the continuous trauma I’ve been getting after each exam I took this past week.
