Looks like we are in for lots of big surprises this coming April 16th and 17th as the annual I Blog 6 Philippine Blogging Summit will be held at the Malcolm Hall, College of Law, UP Diliman. Registrations are NOW ongoing!
What’s good is that it is now a TWO-DAY event, and registration is still for free. If you are wondering why it has to be a two-day seminar, the organizers want the bloggers to learn more without being in such a hurry. Also, it will be a great venue for bloggers to bond and meet and greet more people – an opportunity to meet the faces behind the influential blogs, extend your social networks and meet new friends.
One of the most anticipated internet events in the Philippines will happen on March 4 to 5 at the Crowne Plaza Galeria – the Asia Internet Congress Philippines. If you want to know more regarding the functions, advantages and disadvantages along with tips and tricks in using social media and if you want to know mroe about the common mistakes encountered in internet marketing, this event and conference is a must-see. Definitely, highly recommended.
This is actually a birthday present to me, however, I felt like I didn’t treat it as a present, the way it should be.
2009 might seem to be a wreck for this blog. Primarily because its owner is a big douche for not updating it much and somehow, the blog has not been talking about him for quite a long time already. The blog focused on things beyond who INGHINYERO is and what he thinks of. Most of the time, I posted entries just because they are of interest for people whom I don’t even know – just to gain traffic and, earn money.
But hey, its a new year for INGHINYERO now. And as of the moment, I am trying to give a personal touch with all my posts since January 2010 started. Now, I hope the blog would give you bits of me while writing entries which I am interested with and recent buzzes which I feel needs my thoughts.
All I want is for you to reconsider, INGHINYERO.com. And I hope I’ll make it up to you this time, my dear readers!
Looks like Facebook had influenced Plurk, as the latter launches the feature ‘Like’ in the plurk dashboards of its users!
Now, plurkers can hit the like button if they liked what other people’s status are or if they just don’t know what to say but they want to agree with what other people are saying.
Just like in Facebook, the like button appears at the bottom of the status update or in terms of plurk terms, at the bottom of the plurk.
Also, Plurk added the Liked category along with its original panels: My plurks, All plurks, Private and Responded.
Its just a year ago when I knew of getting paid while blogging. I’ve been trying lots of websites which pay bloggers for sponsored posts: some work well, some don’t. Besides waiting for Google Adsense earnings and also Nuffnang and Adbrite, Blogsvertise is my main money-making scheme for the past months. I’ve been paid nine times already since June this year. Well, I am not a fan of casinos. But maybe you are! If you’re that type who’s searching for best online casinos and poker rooms in the internet – there are certainly great gaming sites that can accomodate your needs. (more…)
Well, me and my organization surely does! Our favorite hangouts and some of our events were held at Makati City! We also love Makati for it is the central business district of the Philippines; once or twice a year, we always do rounds in some of the best companies around to ask for sponsorship; and for some, to send out guest speakers for our events. The 2009 DigitalFilipino E-Commerce Summit will be held this coming November 12 and 13 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City. The event will be made possible by its sponsor Globe GCASH. Also, the president of the G-Xchange Inc. Ms. Rizza Maniago-Eala will have a discussion with the topic, “Challenges and Opportunities in MOBILE MONEY TRANSFER: Implementation of GCASH.” (more…)
Yahoo! Geocities is probably one of those amateur website makers’ bestfriend in the 1990′s. I myself had acquired accounts signed up with my Yahoo! Mail to have my personal site. Take note, I was just second year high school back then when glitter graphics is a fad, and HTML programming is rampant. Widgets before can’t do much but enough to satisfy and amaze you on how your site has improved.
The decision of Yahoo! to shut Yahoo! Geocities down was made last April and all blogs and project sites will be erased and unavailable starting today. For you Geocities users who wants to upgrade your site, Yahoo! offers a hosting service for only $4.99.
Finally, Yahoo! had shut down our beloved Geocities today, October 26. May Yahoo! Geocities rest in peace. <3
This is a dream, and I hope it comes true. I never had any Havaianas slippers. I always think I’d just waste money my mom and dad worked for, just for a pair of slippers, for my ugly feet.
But then, this opportunity came and I hope I’d be able to grab a pair of Havaianas slippers that I can call mines.
Kelvin Servigon never fails to amuse me. In an early age in blogging, he has probably done lots of wonders in the cyberworld. Not only that, his posts are truly interesting. And in his first year of blogging, he celebrates it with a great contest with lots of great prizes, too. (more…)
Cyberworld has lots of contests nowadays. Well, unlike before when no one’s really doing anything and no rewards are there to motivate me.
I was actually hopping for contests recently so that I can add more domains in my vault. Haha.
Anyway, I have joined PoshQueen’s contest and as of now, I am leading. You can still go try to steal the lead from me! Just click the link here: Poshqueen’s First Contest!
Oh well, I have finally gotten my prizes from Orphic Pixel’s domain giveaway. You will soon know what the site is for as a link will pop at my sidebar for it.
Another contest caught my attention though: one by Posh Craze.
It sure is fun to join contests.
It will be more fun if you win ‘em.
