Clearly, Russell Hantz’ manipulative worked to his disadvantage which lead to White winning the game. This is the first ever in a long time that a mactor, has once again won Survivor, last was Parvati’s stint in Micronesia, and long ago, Jenna Morasca’s Survivor Amazon surprise win.

Natalie played it UTR while Russell did it all; he is even the storyteller and the scriptwriter of the season. As consolation, Hantz won $100,000 prize as a runner-up and another $100,000 to be the Sprint Player of the Season.

Survivor 20 will be airing on February 2010 with its setting on sunny SAMOA again! The theme of Survivor 20 is Heroes vs. Villains. It was said that Richard Hatch tried to be in the cast after an invitation from CBS, but was not allowed to be paroled from precinct. Among the rumored cast is Sugar, Russell H. and Brett.

Well, that’s not the good news I’m saying!!!

It was said last year that Survivor will be going only up to its 20th edition. But the good news is! Survivor 21 and 22 auditions are now up and running! This means that another two seasons with the reality show that started it all will be on our TV screens! I just wish that STUDIO 23 gets the Philippine franchise of the CBS series again, it was better off when they were the ones airing it.

Surprisingly, I love this cast. One of the most diversed ever. I hope that this season won’t fail my expectations. Survivor Samoa is set to air on September 17 at C/S Crime and Suspense Channel 9 in the Philippines and September 17 at CBS in the US.

The show airs live 8 AM on Fridays, replay at 7 PM on Saturdays and 11 AM on Sundays.
