It is July 26, a day before the Iglesia Ni Cristo Day and the eve of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s (hopefully) last State of the Nation Address or SONA.

Filipino bloggers from anywhere around the world, channels through blogging and using social networks to take part in the cyberprotest against the Constitutional Assembly, that threatens the country, as there is a huge tendency that if ever ConAss pushes through, the entire GMA regime will haunt us yet another.

What’s pretty much obvious is the administrations’ deceptiveness trying to mellow down issues regarding the constitutional assembly. However, it is pretty blatant that the Filipino people are sick and tired of Mrs. Arroyo’s antics and her administration’s attempts to cover their true motives. Moreover, they are very much afraid that the power and authority will no longer be on their side; hindering a more just and better-led nation for the Filipinos.

Mrs. Arroyo might have probably be scared as she will face lots of cases after her regime.

The blogosphere and the netizens has obviously recognized already the need to make an action. Take part in the Blog Action Day and take a stand for a change in the regime as we do not need a charter change and the fake constitutional reforms that GMA employs (which she does for herself more than for the nation) but a new administration that will unify the nation.
